Q for those familiar with Boston
I just had a question for those familiar with Boston- I am planning to take my kids to Boston for a day, I was thinking of going to both the Children's museum and to the NE Aquarium while we are there, I was researching parking garages and I was wondering if its possible to park in a garage near the Children's museum and walk to the aquarium or is it too far of a walk? I google mapped it and it said 15 min walk but not sure if it is even possible to cross one of the seaport bridges by foot? TIA!

very easy to walk - the bridges are low there and have sidewalks for pedestrians
good lunch spot is the barking crab and it is between both

Yep - I live in Boston and can confirm this it's also a very nice walk over the Seaport Blvd bridge (well, depending on the time of year.....) with a beautiful view of the city. I know there are garages by the aquarium too. It's a very nice area - tons of people out during the warm months and very pedestrian friendly.
ETA - on the "main" part of Boston (the side with the aquarium) there is a really pretty greenway (Rose F Kennedy Greenway) you can walk through the whole way to the aquarium. It's a safe, clean, really lovely park area.

Agreeing it's walkable. The Boston Children's Museum is one of my favorites!! It puts the LICM to shame.

Re: Q for those familiar with Boston
Thanks all! It seems the garages by the children's museum are slightly cheaper and we may end up at the children's museum at the end of the day anyway (Fridays after 5 is $1 admission!) but I didn't know if it was doable.
Definitely going to try to hit up Mike's Pastry in the North End for a cannoli if I can. lol.

Find out the hours. If I remember correctly, admission goes down that low because it's close to closing. It's a really great museum with a lot to do, you'll likely want to spend more time there. Also, if you have a membership to LICM, it will get you in for free.
