Memory foam mattress for 3 year old?
Does anyone know if this is okay/safe? We ordered DS's big boy furniture today, and now I need to get him a mattress!

We did - we got a Bobopedic, a thinner one, so it's not super high.

That's exactly what I'm thinking of getting.
Kevy loves it, he had been sleeping on our Bobopedic and was used to it. He didn't like the spring mattresses. It's firm and the perfect height.

I always thought children needed very firm mattresses but I'm not sure. You might want to ask your Pediatrician or if you know any physical therapists orthopedists or chiropractors

When my DH and I were in the market and buying a memory foam mattress the sales rep told us you need to weigh at least 150lbs for comfortable results.

Really? I've been sleeping on memory foam for almost 10 years and have only weighed 150+ when pregnant....and I find it very comfortable.

Really? I've been sleeping on memory foam for almost 10 years and have only weighed 150+ when pregnant....and I find it very comfortable.
I was surprised when the salesman told me too. It was actually when we were looking at the Bob-o-pedic. Maybe someone there can confirm it.
