Niagra Falls with little kids?
Thinking about going in April for Spring Break, my kids will be 6 and 3. Is there enough to do with little kids? I haven't been there since I was 12. Any hotel recommendations? Were huge fans of hotel rooms with a separate sleeping area for the kids.
Thanks!

I haven't been in years. I think the kids would enjoy what we did - falls attractions and butterfly conservatory- but we only went for a couple of days. Not sure what else is there. I would pick one of the Falls view hotels in Canada. If nothing has changed, Marriott and Embassy Suites were closest.

We just came back this past weekend from niagara falls. We were there for two nights. I would be careful of it being chilly during the April break; even last weekend, nights were chilly but days were warm. You definitely have to do the boat ride, although maid of the mist is no longer on the Canadian side, horn blower cruises is now there. We had lunch reservations at the skylon tower and between lunch and the observation deck, that took a couple of hours. There's clifton hill which has arcades and shopping. But during April, I would say that you should stay at one of the resorts with a water park-great wolf lodge is near by or there's the skyline hotel that would help if it were cold.
It was definitely worth the trip. We had a great time

Awesome advice, thanks! I was banking on it being on the chilly side, I'm guessing we'll stay inside at night.
With minimal research done, it looks like hotels are pretty inexpensive but then everything else costs lots of money, the parking, the activities, etc. NEed to do some digging!

We stayed in a Country Inn and Suites. Lovely hotel. It was a block off Clifton Hills, where all of the action takes place. Arcades, shopping, restaurants, the sky wheel and the falls were just down the street. Every attraction has coupons that can be used - we got them from the front desk. There was a free breakfast and an indoor pool plus warm cookies served round the clock at the front desk. The parking was $10.00 CAD per day. Check to see if the prices you are looking at are in CAD, the dollar was stronger when we went.

We were thinking about the same thing and was looking at the Hilton. It's a bit more pricey but they do offer 2 bedroom suites which I need since I have 3 kids.
