I went in March and May this year, it was super hot, even hotter in May, sun is very strong, we didn't have any rain.
I think it might be smart to get trip insurance if the flights and hotel are non refundable. Or book a refundable trip god forbid you have to change the dates because of a storm.

I know people who are going this month and didn't think twice about it (including my boss who is very conservative and well aware of hurricane risk).
I would buy insurance like PP suggested.

I would go, but would get travel insurance just in case (I've been to other islands during hurricane season and haven't had a problem, but always get the insurance, just in case)
