Thinking of doing a day trip out there with my 5 y/o DD. What is there to do there with her? I've never been but thought it would be fun for a little mother/daughter trip.

They have a really cool big carousel in the town. That's the highlight for kids
You can walk around and get lunch, get ice cream, there are some little shops to browse in.
It's nice- my DD liked it when we took her there.
