Family fun weekends away that are driving distance
Looking to plan a few weekends away in the next few months.
Was thinking of doing Massachusetts for one maybe the six flags out there just for a change of pace but still undecided on that.
Would love to hear ideas. Posted this on travel but this is probably faster.

we had a great weekend away recently in mystic, CT. did the aquarium and the seaport and it was really fun and educational. my kids are 5 and 3.
our summer vacation was to ogunquit, maine, which is my happy place. its about 4.5 hours away and is just beautiful, laid back, quaint and fun.

Wildwood, NJ - the cape may zoo is awesome and free.
Then there is the whole boardwalk, amusement park, water park

We are going to go for a couple days to Massachusetts at the end of August, we're going to Edaville USA since they have Thomas Land (DS loves Thomas) and then still deciding on what to do for another day...either going up to Boston or going to a beach on Cape Cod.
Last year we did 2 days in Lancaster.
