Crazy Hat Day

Ugh. sucks that it is summer. My kids had this in winter and I used winter hats.
Do you have a cowboy hat or maybe you could pick one up from the dollar store? We usually decorate with paint, glitter, stickers. I pretty much let them do whatever they want.
Otherwise maybe a baseball cap or visor and twist a bunch of pipe cleaners (my kids love doing this) all over and glue them on and then paint. I don't go too crazy. I usually do whatever is quick, simple, and cheap.

We have tons of costume hats: fireman, knight, etc.
We use one of those.

It was crazy hat day at camp and I saw a kid wear a santa hat thought it was so cute like Christmas in July.

Crazy Hat Day
A spaghetti strainer (for the hat) with yarn attatched and red cotton balls. Looks like a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. My kids have done it. Always gets raves lol

I went to the dollar tree and bought a hat and a bunch of craft stuff and let them go to town. It came out really cute and they told me everyone loved the hats.
