If your LO was VERY active when you were pregnant
I'm getting very nervous. My DS was extremely active when I was pregnant with him. I felt him as early as 14 weeks and he just never stopped moving. Always kicking, flipping, etc. When he was born, he was the same way - always moving, never napped or slept, cried all the time, etc. He's now 7 and he has ADHD.
Fast forward to this pregnancy with DD. I started feeling her at 11 weeks (yes, you read that correctly) and she has not stopped. If it's even possible, I think she's MORE active than DS was. She's constantly kicking...like all.day.long. I dont know when she sleeps. Every ultrasound (we've had 7) the doctors mention that she's "turbo charged" or they cant get her to stop moving, or "you guys are in trouble with this one". I'm absolutely terrieid that she's going to be like DS - a terrible sleeper, fidgety right off the bat, and possibly also ADD
I guess I'm looking to see if there truly is a correlation between movement in utero and their temperament after birth. For those of you whose babies were very active in the womb, how was their temperament when they were born?

My DS was crazy. He still is but in a good way. Loves to play and have fun but his teacher at Pre K says he is great in class.

I NEVER felt my DS when he was in utero. Now, he is 2 and I can't get him to sit still - EVER!

DD2 was quiet. So much so that they were always concerned during check-ups/sonos because she didn't move.
She almost 2 and INSANE! She is constantly on the go. Never stops. She spent 9 months resting up for life on the outside.

#2 and #3 were big movers.
Both slept from 8 weeks on for 10 hours each night.
Don't get me wrong, they don't stop moving as toddlers. I never sit down.
But at least they sleep.

both of my DD's were very active when I was pregnant. They were both good babies and calm toddlers.

I dunno if I really believe in any of that - I think DS was pretty average in his movement in the womb, and on the more hyper side as a kid. He's rambunctious and fearless, but he wasn't going nuts in my belly.

I'm worried about the same thing. This kid moves non stop. I started feeling him at 13 weeks and everyone thought I was crazy, but it was def him. The doctors say the same exact things about him. He kicks and punches so hard that I jumped off the bed the other night.

DD is only 7 months so I can't let you know yet if she has ADHD but she was a psycho in the womb and has been a mover since she was born.

DS1 didn't move a lot, was a pretty good sleeper for the most part and he's pretty active but not too much (he's 3 yrs old)
DS2 moved a lot, he's def not a good sleeper. I'm not sure how active he'll be though cause he's only 11 months old. Hoping he won't be jumping off the walls!

My first moved a lot and is a bit of a lump when we're at home. I always have to shoe her off the couch! My second barely moved in the womb (to the point where she eventually stopped altogether and they took her out early). She is my climber, runner, nonstop kid now!
