Citi Mastercard fraud department
I just got the Citi Double cash card two months ago and see a charge at Sephora I think 99% I did not make. Have been calling all weekend and on hold only to get people in India who cant tell me anything about the charge. I have had this happen with Chase and within an hour of a suspicious purchase, they contacted me and overnighted a new card. I can't believe the frustration. Got off phone with India and will go to local branch tomorrow. I think I will just use my Chase card now and forget this. Can't believe how better Chase is.

Weird! I had 3 fraudulent charges on my card the other day and had it taken care of right away on the phone with them. So frustrating how common this is. Sorry, you are dealing with it, so annoying!

Not sure if it's because it is the weekend. I called again and got someone in the Phillipines and she cancelled my card and sending new one to me by Tuesday. I wanted to double check on the charge as it was Sephora and I am in and out of there but I used a gift card the last time and she said it was made in Canada.

Usually Citi has been fabulous when i've had fraudulent charges on my card - they contact me before i even know about them!
sorry you werent getting the answers you needed, and hope the charge gets taken care of!

It doesn't matter what day of the week or time of day it is. Call the number on the back of your card and ask for the fraud dept.
They will put a temporary stop on that charge while they ask Sephora for the proof that it was you. Meantime, they'll issue you a new card.
