Houston?
I'm thinking of going with my DH when he has a conference for a few days in the fall. Worth going? I've never been anywhere in TX so I kind of want to check it out... Thanks!

Houston?
I've been there every year. There's great bbq. The zoo is great, and there's the nasa space center. Galveston island is a short way away. It's a spread out city though, not like nyc, Boston, DC, etc.
St Arnold's brewery is also good there.

Its a very spread out town. Lots of highways, i've been a couple of times. If you're going with kids there is a city pass that is a good deal and you can see a lot. The galleria mall is really nice.

DH and I went a few years ago to visit my cousin. As others said the city is very spread out. While there we went to NASA and St. Arnold's Brewery. One place we ate at that I liked was Niko Nikos.
