Nice, cheap hotels (with suites) near hershey
Anyone know of any nice but cheap hotels near Hershey that has suites (we like to have two rooms so we can put kids to bed and we can stay up a little later).
Definitely wouldn't mind being 10-20 minutes from Hershey. MAYBE 30 minutes away max.

We booked at Residence Inn in Harrisburg (15 miles out).
Booked a 1 BR suite.

We've stayed at the Homewood Suites in East Harrisburg. It's about 20 min away (highway driving). The Lancaster Brewery is practically right next door. Great beer and food.

Best Western Eden Resort is the best. About 25min away from Hershey. Not sure when you are going, but we went while school was in session and it was 1/2 the price of summer rates.
They have a great outdoor pool area, with park, little mini golf, bocci ball, bbq's etc. And 2 restaurants and a bar in the lobby.

We have stayed here a couple of times and liked it.
Free breakfast, free evening appetizers on weekdays. Indoor/outdoor pools. Full kitchens.
Not sure how cheap it is, since we use points.
Eden is really far from the parks. It takes us about 45 minutes to get from Lancaster to Hershey Park. It's not cheap in the Summer, and the resort has such a great pool area, I wouldn't waste your money or time staying there when you will be driving so far away from the resort to Hershey.

I agree with this. We loved it when we went with DS. It was about 25 - 30 minutes from Hershey, but well worth the drive IMO.
