If you had or attended a party at Adventureland
Did you buy tickets for the adults to go on the rides with their kids? I have about three two year olds and a three year old coming, but I feel like it's going to get out of control expensive if I buy tickets for their parents on top of everything else.

No we didn't buy for adults. They bought for themselves
2 and now at 3 my kids went on themselves (the kiddie rides)

I went to a party in May and I bought my own bracelet they gave a discount for parents who kids attended a party.

Both parties I've attended (same hosts), parents were given bracelets. But, it's totally NOT necessary.

We got a bracelet... But the kid was 2 at the time. Our other was too young to be included.
I really appreciated the extra bracelet... But I think that kids over 3 can do the rides on their own.

I had 2 parties there. At the first party, they gave me like 5 complimentary parent bracelets. The second time, I think the parent bracelets were $5. I just told the parents about it and let them buy them themselves.

We were just at a party there last weekend and the hosts paid for our bracelets but they were $5 each and we had totally intended to pay for them ourselves.
I dont think its a big deal to have a parent buy a bracelt for $5 if they want to go on rides with their kids.

We just had my DD's party there last weekend. We paid for everyone- parents, siblings etc. it was a small fortune party lol

Not to hijack, but my DD loves Adventureland and I'm tempted to have her 4th birthday party there. How do the parties work? Do all the kids just scatter and go on what they want and then meet back up? Or do they hit the rides together as a group? And do they have to wait on lines? Are they long?
Do they get to ride all day or is it just for like a couple hours?

I've never hosted a party, but have been to a couple there. In my experience, the kids all scatter and go on whatever rides they want. The lines have never been long when I've been there (April, both times). And I feel like it's either 1 1/2 - 2 hours of rides/games and then we had the food/cake.

The party I went to we all seemed to stay together at first then went our own ways. The kids all wanted to ride different things. It was really a great party. They rode rides for about and hour and a half then we had food.The kids were able to pick from a few options for lunch and for the adults my friend added wrap platters and drinks. It was a really fun day.

I had DS' 3rd and 4th birthday parties there. They were tremendous hits. I have a large age range of kids so having his party at a traditional kiddie place, like Once Upon a Treetop or something, wasn't going to work for 10 year olds.
Both times, we ate first (which takes about an hour) and then the kids went on the rides. Initially, everyone followed my son but the bigger kids wanted to go on the big kid rides so they scattered. To me it seemed like everyone's parents said "you have to go on one ride with the bday boy and then you can go" which was totally fine with me because I wanted everyone to have a good time. That's the whole point. If you ride first and then eat, everyone will meet up again later and they cut off your bracelets. If you eat first and then ride, they never cut off the bracelets so the kids can ride all day. The kids have to wait in line for rides just like everyone else. My son's birthday is in August and the lines weren't bad at all.

I have to say while it seems chaotic (and for me as the host it was lol) the kids really really had a blast!!! Everyone kept telling us it was their favorite party. We did 2 hours of riding the rides and then an hour to eat. I will say the eating part was tough bc it was one waiter for all those kids and adults so if you needed something it was a little hectic. But the kids don't care about that and all in all it was a great party.
