Happy News
I graduated with my RN degree May 26.
Just found out I passed my boards AND was offered a new grad residency position at Washington Hospital Center.
I haven't worked FT in 10 years since my first son was born, but here goes nothing...I start 8/22!!!!

Congratulations!!! I have the utmost respect for nurses... most of the nurses I've encountered with my experiences in various hospitals, either for myself or for family members, have been amazing people.

My mom is an RN and I agree with the pp- it is hard work, but my mom loves her job. It seems a very fulfilling profession.

Next stop...Nurse Practitioner! LOL. Going to gain experience as a bedside hospital nurse first though. Little at a time...
