Bibs??

Bibs??

DD is a little slob. We've begun feeding her in just a diaper with a bib because I'm sick of rushing to wash whatever she's wearing immediately so it doesn't stain.

The bigger issue is daycare. I send bibs but every outfit she's been fed in at daycare has been ruined. I'm sure this will get better as she becomes a better eater (she's only 6 months) but in the meantime, I cannot afford to throw away 5 outfits per week.

I need heavy duty bibs that cover her entire outfit, arms and all. Do these exist? Any other suggestions to save her clothes?

This and even if they are slightly stained let them wear it. If someone wants to judge me cause me kid has a slight stain then so be it. The grow too fast to be throwing out perfectly good clothes.

We use Leveret or Bumpkins and buy them both on Amazon. I like the Bumpkins a little better.

I agree!!!

Oxiclean is AMAZING!

If he has a little stain on his outfit, I do not sweat it. He's a toddler - its part of life!

I pretreat immediately and then wash it. I do not put it in the dryer. I check to see if the stain has been removed. If it has not, I pretreat again and put it in the wash again. It almost always comes out.

These are not little stains. The pink and white top she wore the other day was pink and orange from carrots. I could not have her wear it again.

I saw the Bumkin bibs.....they're $13, but I may order them especially since they come in such cute prints. My concern is that daycare won't put them on her because she'll probably fuss. Quite honestly, I don't think they were putting any bibs on her because I got back unstained bibs and stained clothes.

I will try the Oxiclean! And tomorrow she's getting pears and a dark shirt!

We used Bumkins too (and Oxyclean). Our daycare specifically asked for us to send in a plastic bib.

My favorite bib is made of plastic and nothing compares to it.
I get this for every new mom (or second time mom) I can think of bc it was my favorite baby product hands down.

Re: Bibs??

Love bumpkins or the aiden and Anais Burp cloth bibs. The a&a are food-stained but they keep the clothes underneath clean.

In general dark clothes and prints are best clothes for daycare to hide the stains!
