Checking in...
Hey ladies, just wanted to drop a line and say hi, I havent been on LIF for a few weeks b/c I moved to wantagh, and am in the process of painting the house and had the wood floors redone and it has been total and complete craziness. I miss all you guys, I hate not being up to date with all the mommy's and babies. I didnt even get to post Jacob's 9 month old pics... (you know you're all withdrawing a little bit!!  ) It has been totally impossible to do anything in the house with Jacob attached to my hip, so it is taking even longer. 
And in the all the craziness of the move I had 3 mommy mistakes:
1) Moving day i was racing around the old house packing last min stuff and Jacob was whining in the living room so i brought him in the bedroom with me plopped him on my bed, turned around for THAT SPLIT SECOND, and he fell off my bed and landed on his face.. gushing blood, screaming bloody murder and had to whisk him off the the pediatrician in the midst of moving day. Thankfully he was fine, just tore some skin in his upper lip and got a fat lip. 
2) Trying to paint the living room, let him crawl around and he tipped over a huge jug of ceiling paint all over the brand new wood floors.. and mind you gave himself a paint bath.
Had to have that part of the floors restained and polyed since the paint seeped into the cracks in the floor..
3) Trying to clean up the kitchen from the paint mess and as he's crawling past the staircase loses his balance and cracks his head on the last step of the stairs..
I GIVE UP!!!! Its been a nightmare.. and i just wanted to vent and touch base with all you ladies. I feel so disconnected.. Hope to be back in full swing soon.
