Is October a bad time to go to Florida- weather wise?
I am talking about a beach vacation. Just worried if it's "rainy" season or not. I know it will be plenty hot in Oct.
Anyone go in Oct? How was the weather?

But it is hurricane season, so there is always a (small) possibility of that being an issue

My parents have a house in Clearwater Beach and always spend October there. It is their favorite time of year, though last year was still very hot there.

Rainy season is beginning now. Oct is the end of it. I go to FL almost every Sept and you will get storms but not all day rain. So Oct should be even less.

Oh I want the heat. I loveeeeee heat.
I was just worried about rain.
Glad to hear it's not really rainy season anymore

It's still HOT in october and the rainy season is now. By October we just have quick storms. My DS' bday is October and his first party here in Florida (we're in North FL) it was 87 degrees! Coming from NY we were shocked!

It's a nice time of year, we were there at the end of October into November and it was perfect. We had no rain at all and some days it was actually pretty crisp and cool out (we wore jeans and a light jacket in the mornings and nights) and then some of the days were warm and you could go swimming. We had a mix of all temps. lol

October is my favorite time of year to go. It is not too hot, and doesn't rain any more than other times of year. It won't rain as much in October as it does in August/September unless there happens to be a tropical storm/hurricane on the path towards Florida.
The decorations are fun that time of year too and the crowds are not too bad either.

Not going to Disney! LOL
We are going to Margartiville Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach. I am SOOOO excited.
And the only fall decoration I want to see is a frozen drink and my flip flops!

October is still my favorite time to go to Florida. The weather is perfect. Hot, but not OMG THIS IS AWFUL hot... now I want to go to a Florida beach.
