Sunscreen for sensitive skin?
Can anyone recommend what they use on DD/DS? DD is 13 months and has sensitive skin. We are currently using the Babyganics sunscreen but she often gets these small red bumps and her skin looks irritated. Hoping for a reasonably priced option -- some of these sunscreens on Amazon that come recommended are like $25 for 2-3oz Thanks!

Sunscreen for sensitive skin?
Both my kids have eczema and super sensitive skin and the only one I have found that work well for us is the coppertone pure and simple. I know I know...everyone is bugging out about sunblocks now but this works for us and neither of my babes have ever burned and my kids are very fair.

Thank you. I will definitely look into it. DD also have very fair skin and we're going to be outside quite a bit this summer. I'm not one of those crazy sunscreen people -- I don't need something made by magical fairies in some far away remote land for $$$ where the main ingredient is purified love I need something that is going to protect my daughter and is readily accessible in stores.

Re: Sunscreen for sensitive skin?
My DD has ridiculously fair, sensitive skin. We have always used Neutrogena and it works wonderfully! Doesn't irritate her at all and we've never had a burn.
This year I also started using the Coppertone sport stick for their faces, I like it because it's clear (I hate the white cast that some sticks have).

Banana Boat Baby (the pink one). Keeps her sunburn free and no rashes/irritations.
I tried the kid one (yellow) and it was a disaster--even though I can't find a difference in the ingredients list!

Coppertone sport for us.. I haven't tried the other versions but I know Coppertone is the ONLY stuff that doesn't send her skin into hives of red bumps and hives.
We tried all the other stuff. Aveeno, Neutrogena.. had HORRIBLE results. Felt so bad for her. It would appear afterwards. Always if she sweat with it. Nasty little rashy stuff.
So we stick with what we know.
She has eczema

Re: Sunscreen for sensitive skin?
Baby's antics was all we could use for a few years. We play around. After a while the new one we find bothers her. But for the last year she can only use nutrogena wet skin kids. Everything else breaks her out in little dots. It is not the best one out there but the organic ones seem to break her out in a rash. I find it is a game. You have to play around and try them. What works for my friend breaks my kid out, but what works for mine, breaks her kids out. Trial and error.

Re: Sunscreen for sensitive skin?
Last year we used babyganics and dd was fine...this year she is breaking out in a rash from it. We started Thinkbaby and so far it seems good. My dd has terribly sensitive skin.

That's so weird. Us too. I all but bought stock in babyganics at the start of this summer because dd did so well with it in the past, but now she gets a rash on her neck and jawline when we use it.

Its insane..I saw someone say just use coconut oil it has natural spf in it..My kids would be crispy tater tots if I slathered them in oil for a day at the beach!

My daugher also has eczema and sensitive skin. We have 3 that we use: Blue Lizard Baby, Honest Co. (the NEW formula), and CeraVe Baby. The mineral sunscreens are thicker/little more difficult to rub in and cost more than chemical sunscreens but well worth it to me.

Sunscreen for sensitive skin?
Just used thinkbaby on dd today and her meaty little legs are in perfect shape- she usually breaks out into a rash if you poke her.
