Cell Phone Ticket - Suffolk County
Does anyone know how much the ticket is if you plead guilty? It doesn't say on my ticket, so just curious if anyone has paid one recently.
The cop said if I go to the court date specified on the ticket, I could plea and have it knocked down to a parking ticket, but I really can't take off work.
Edit to say I wasn't texting! I was just holding the phone in my hand on speaker. It wouldn't connect to my blue tooth for some reason...and I usually just sit it in my console when that happens, but I am pregnant and just wasnt thinking honestly, lol.

Call the police precinct. They can tell you a roundabout number.
It may pay to get it reduced though. A cell phone ticket is a moving violation, no? That will cause your insurance to go up and you'll get pints on your license. Parking ticket you won't.
