Transitioning to baby's room
At 10 mo I really wouldn't worry about your supply dropping bc of limiting over night feedings-dd slept great until 4 mo (12 hours a night, and it never affected my supply)
As far as transitioning, we ended up cosleeping a lot not by choice, but bc I also don't agree with the whole self soothing at that age thing. That being said, I tried a lot of different things, but for us it didn't get better until I put her in her own bed at 18 mo (which I should have done around 12 mo). But, we had an issue with the crib more than the sleeping

I see what you're saying. Yes, I really think the best approach will be to just put him in his crib, in his own room and start from there. Hoping it works
