Anyone been on Oasis of the Seas?

Was on it 2 years ago. Definitely book all of the shows ahead of time (you can always decide not to show up but it can be very difficult to get into the ones you want when you want). when we went it was me and DH and one other couple. We really didn't do a whole lot on he ship, other than lounge by the pool during the day, but there is always something to do if you want. We had planned on eating at the steak house one night, but we had so much fun with our waiter every night so we just ate in the main dining room every night. We went with the later seating for dinner rather than the plan where you could choose your time each day - I forget why, but I think it was because you could wind up having to wait in line for a table with the free time dining. Let me know if you have any specific questions

We went on the Allure last year and are going on the Oasis the end of this month. Book everything ahead of time and choose Traditional Dining. The my time dining will leave you waiting on lines. Also we had a horrible time trying to get into the buffet for lunch and breakfast. The lines were ridiculous. Try going during off times or eat at one of the other restaurants. Johnny Rockets has a nice free breakfast and so does the main dining room.

The ice shows and parades were fantastic and my daughter loved the boardwalk area. She must of rode the carousel 100 times lol. The ship is beautiful and big and always a ton to do but it does get very crowded so you need to plan your day.

If you gamble, the Allure/Oasis had the best casino I have been too on a ship. Lots of fun and lots of tables.

Re: Anyone been on Oasis of the Seas?

I went on the Oasis a few years ago. My favorite ship! We had any-time dining and really only waited a few minutes. We ate at Chops (the steakhouse) and really liked it. For a lighter breakfast and lunch we at at the Park Cafe. We would sit outside and eat in the Central Park area, which was really nice. Definitely have a drink at the Rising Tide bar. Make reservations for the shows, especially the Comedy Show which has a low seating capacity (adults only). The boardwalk and Central Park areas were really nice. Even though the ship is huge, we never had a problem finding loungers on the pool deck. The mini golf was fun, although not easy to play with the wind while moving. We didn't go on the Flow-rider but enjoyed watching people do it.
