people. How many trays of food do I need?

Most likely doing hot food, not sandwiches/heroes.

Re: catering for 25-30

Depending on how many the trays feed, I would do 3 trays. One of pasta, one of chicken, and then a third of another meat like sausage and peppers. A different option would be one tray of pasta, one chicken, and then 2 half trays-one vegetable and the other could be whatever you like. If you have salad and bread that should be good but double check with who ever you are catering from. They would know better.

I would make the chicken franchase or chicken parm a half tray. If you want to do something else for the kids.

Think 3 full trays is good.
