Cough medicine for 4yr old
I bought delsym for my daughter who has been coughing pretty consistently since yesterday but I'm a lil hesitant to give it to her. Has anyone given it to their child?? Amy other remedies you would recommend. I always thought cough syrup wasn't good until 6yrs old but the bottle says 4+

I gave it to my DD at 4. They only say over 6 because people weren't dosing it properly and ODing their kids.
Just follow the dose on the box carefully

My DD's ped actually recommended delsym the last time I brought her in for a cough, and she won't be 4 for another few months.

We use dimatap or trimenic. Check w your ped for the dosage.
We also have bromfed.

My ped recommends dimiatapp and the dosage is based on weight. Maybe call peds to confirm dosage
