Which stroller for Disney?
Debating on double or sit & stand - for 2.5 & 5.5 yo
Found rentals for both - don't know much about either.
Anyone know if either one would be generally lighter, easier to fold or easier to carry on buses ??
I feel like the double will be a problem with them annoying each other (as they do this in their car seats )
Im not sure if the sit and stand can be used if my toddlers taking a nap (but that's only for 2 hours a day)
In general I didn't see needing a stroller much for my 5.5 yo since we are only doing half days in the park (probably around 8-2) then just relaxing by the resorts the rest of the time.
Any thoughts or ideas on which is better?
TIA

I would go with the double - especially since it has a sun shade too.
We're going this year and I'm planning on bringing my City Mini double for probably its last hurrah as my kids will be 6 1/2 and 4 1/2. We stay offsite so there is a lot of walking once we leave the park as well - and it's the easiest way to keep them together.

We bought 2 very cheap singles. Was easy to get on/off, easy to ditch one & pick up later & easy to push. Kids slept in them without a problem.

What's the reasons for the double? I was leaning towards sit and stand .. Seems easier to wheel around ? Am I missing something?

Re: Which stroller for Disney?
Definitely the double. We rented the single initially and after day 1, we called Magic Strollers to exchange for the double. Soooo worth it.
And I highly recommend Magic Strollers.
ETS, Those parks are so huge, my kids were already tired walking from the parking lot to the entrance.

The double is so lighweight & narrow. It barely feels like a double.

I totally agree with this!
Otherwise, the Sit & Stand is tremendous when folded--anyway, mine was.

Re: Which stroller for Disney?
I disagree. I got the sit and stand when we went with my 5 and 2 yo. I researched all kinds of double strollers before we went to Disney. This stroller had been to many theme parks and it is AWESOME!!!
The 5 yo had the freedom to pop in and out of the jump seat all day and had a belt for strapping in when he fell asleep on the way to the car. It wasn't a pain to push like the double wides can be and it folded just as good as a single. This is the one we bought (diff color) and it was the BEST investment. Still use it today.

I would say double, but my two are younger, so no experience with a 5 year old. Our double is really light and easy to fold.

Wow thanks ... That looks like a good stroller . How is the recline on the front .. Does it go all the way down ? Can the older kid sit if the front seat is reclined ?

Re: Which stroller for Disney?
The recline goes about halfway, maybe a touch more. Plenty for nap time. If it is reclined, the back jump seat is not usable unfortunately. Our younger one took a nap midday while the older one went on rides. For the walk to car where they both fell asleep we had the front seat upright. It has a slight slight recline so his head was supported. The older one in the back was somewhat shlumped over to the side but it was only for like 20 minutes until we got to the car. We LOVE this stroller! I saw so many other families with the same one around the park.
I think you mentioned renting, but we bought ours and used it in airport up until the gate. Helped keep the kids under control in the airport and getting a rental car.

Re: Which stroller for Disney?
Thanks for all the info ... Sounds like it might work for us! I've been debating about renting or buying and bringing.. This might be the better option so we can bring it on other trips
Do they sell these at local stores or did you buy online?
Thanks again for the info
