Is it safe to go to Bermuda in October or is that to much of hurricane season?

It definitely is an iffy time to go because of the season, BUT, in terms of weather when there is no threat, - It is amazing. I would definitely consider it, but please make sure you purchase travel insurance that will cover cancellations due to a hurricane. Just beware though, if you are considering a cruise, the cruise itself will not be cancelled, but they will divert you to either Canada or the Bahamas instead.

I love Bermuda.

October is still hurricane season. It is a risk. I would get trip insurance just in case.

October in Bermuda is quite cooler compared to September. This is the time when the temperature starts coming down. The air temperature in October varies between an average high of 80 degree Fahrenheit to a low of 72 degree. The water temperature also comes down to 77 degree. But Water visibility increases to 100-120 feet making it a great time for scuba diving or even snorkeling. Cruise ship calls start reducing in October.

October continues to be part of Bermuda's hurricane season. But that should not deter you from planning a visit to the island. Hurricanes are only possibilities and are not common.
