Vacation suggestions
Trying to find a vacay for July rather not fly. Throwing around the idea of a cruise. Anyone recommend a resort type vacation maybe in Florida? We have two kids and just did Disney in October.

Re: Vacation suggestions
You would drive to Florida you mean? (You said you'd rather not fly)
If you are going to Florida for a resort type vaca (not disney or theme park) I highly recommend Clearwater Beach on the Gulf coast. Very family friendly and beautiful beaches. I stayed at the Sandpearl which was incredible. They have lots of stuff for kids there too.

Re: Vacation suggestions
For July, since the weather is so nice in the Northeast, we do local stuff: Boston/Cape Cod (we loved this so much, we are going back!) Philly/jersey DC
This year, I'm doing far upstate NY/ Niagra
Though we love Florida, it is there for us when weather is worse.

Yes, I do agree wtih this as well. Florida in July will be brutally hot too. I love Florida in March, April, May and then the fall months here.
We did Wildwood/Diamond Beach on the Jersey shore last Aug and it was great! SOOO much to do including an awesome FREE zoo in Cape May with a ton of animals. Plus the whole Wildwood Boardwalk thing, etc

Re: Vacation suggestions
Siesta Key in FL is gorgeous! One of the top rated beaches!
ETA: but I love cruising! If you have a port nearby, I'd highly recommend it!
