especially vaginal, how long did you bleed for?

i gave birth 2 weeks ago this wed and still feel gross and like its still so heavy. it was a very rough birth, long and torturous lol, and he was 9.5 lbs. it was a nightmare but just wondering. i don't remember from my 2 girls

My first was a vaginal delivery, I was definitely bleeding for a while, I want to say it stopped after 6 weeks, I am not sure if that is the norm though... For my 2nd I had a c-section and the bleeding was much less and didn't really last too long at all.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it lasted more than 2 weeks. It feels like it goes on forever.

Probably 6 weeks, super heavy for a week, about period heaviness for a week after and then it tapered to spotting, with some light bleeding for the next 4 weeks or so.

i figured, I just don't remember it just feels like forever lol. I hate it. I feel gross when I am healing and feeling better, lol. It's annoying. I also hate some days its light and others its so heavy.

Very little.
Like a week maybe. And by the time I left the hospital it was slowing down and getting lighter.

With my last one it was very light for about 6 weeks. If you are bleeding heavily that means you are over doing it. Take it easy with lifting and staying on your feet.

With my first I bled for close to 6 weeks. It was only very heavy for the first week or two though.

6ish weeks. It wasn't painful. Just went on forever! I didn't deliver vaginally though. I had a C-Section.

A very long time. Like 8 weeks, although it was only heavy for a week or two. I thought there was something wrong but my doctor said it varies for each person and eventually it did stop.

I think like 3 weeks and it sort of went away but came back at week 4. I remember thinking is this my period??? But it wasn't. It took me a longggg time to get the courage to even look down there with a mirror.

5 weeks both times. Only heavy for the first week or so, then it was more like spotting.

With Jillian, at least 5 weeks. But I also have a prolapse now so I'm not sure if that's a factor in that or not.

With both my c-section and VBAC I think I bled for around 5 weeks. But my VBAC was much heavier bleeding. At about 1 week pp I almost went back to the hospital b/c I was worried I was bleeding so heavily.

I bled heavily for about a week (had large clots, but not large enough to warrant going to the doctor), and then it got significantly lighter for 2 weeks. After 3/4 weeks, it basically went away.

I'm almost 3 weeks PP but still bleeding lightly. My doc said it could be up to 6 weeks of heavy bleeding though.

i'm going to say about 8 weeks - it sucked.

most of it was heavy for about 3 weeks then just annoyingly spotting

Thanks everyone. As luck with have it, I stopped heavy bleeding exactly at the 2 week mark, so on Wed and it's very light now. Annoying still but not feeling so gross anymore lol
