Supplying own food for daycare
I am currently at a daycare where I will have to supply my own table food when DD is ready. We still have a couple more months.. She is still on purees at this point I didnt have to do this with my DS and I am freaking out a little about it! I have to bring breakfast and lunch Any suggestions on what foods to bring? How to prep? How to make life easier!? Thanks! Also, if anyone has a sample menu they use themselves to figure out what to send every day that would be great!

Re: Supplying own food for daycare
I did that at DS's daycare when he went. They also allowed me to bring in snacks and cereal to leave there so ask if you can do that so this way it's one or two less things to have to bring each day. They also allowed frozen pancakes they kept in the freezer with his name on it and they supplied syrup, but I offered I think that was shared with the class for others who also had.
cereal froze pancakes/waffles PB & J sandwich (there was no allergies there) cheese sandwich turkey or turkey & cheese cheese and crackers mac and cheese leftovers from the night before cream cheese and bagel hummus sandwich hummus and veggies cut up grapes banana cookies pudding gogurt greek yogurt pizza goldfish, snacks, etc
Ask about leaving stuff. Also should add I was allowed to leave milk and they always gave water throughout the day and when he used a sippy cup I'd keep it there and they washed it each day.

I had to supply my DS with food until he reached the toddler room at 18 months.
