care.com rates
Anyone know if the sitter/nanny rates on care.com or sittercity are off the book rates?
If you hired someone on care.com/sittercitty.com what do you pay hourly, daily or weekly for 2 kids?

Each situation is different. Some will need on the books (for benefits) others won't.
I found that some of the nannies grossly inflate their rates online to see what they can get, but are willing to take less.

I think off the book. Especially if it's a babysitter. Nanny or salaried position perhaps different. $15 an hour for 1 toddler... she is an occasional sitter for us.
