Have not been there since i was a kid-
Looking to take my 2 year old son- are there things for him to do if he doesn't like the rides?
Is it worth the money to go or wait until he is older?
And where would you stay?

They have a few shows and the parade. It's mostly rides. The characters walk around and have set times people line up for the pictures. You could also do a dine with the characters.
We stayed at the Marriott spring hill suites. Walking distance and right across the street. Super easy and clean, new hotel.

If you're going in summer they have a few splash areas for kids and also a wave pool. The shows are cute, they also have a parade, character meet and greets. They have a little kids play area (mini monster clubhouse) and some slides that are pretty tame.
Last year I stayed at the courtyard down the block. They had a free shuttle and gave us free breakfast (which was excellent!). This year we booked the Sheraton across the street. They were cheaper and had a shuttle and indoor pool.
We have season passes, my son has so much fun there!
