Where to go on vacation in July? Are all islands out?
Looking for ideas for a trip in July. For summer I keep thinking hurricane season/rainy season for some of the places in the caribbean.
Any places that would be good for a family trip in July? 2 kids, ages 2 and 6. Open to lots of things but not considering Europe this year.

Hurricane season really starts in august.
The ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaco) are generally considered safe from hurricanes, if you wanted to go to the Caribbean.

I think in July you are safe... but the ABC islands like the PP mentioned are out of the hurricane belt

Dh and I did Mexico, but booked last minute and there were no hurricanes last year. We have done aruba in the past. Try to get a direct flight to Aruba. We had a stop in Miami and we were the last flight out before a hurricane.
