This is why I hate people.

I work in construction. Lots of testosterone.

I was just accused of being given a document that I was in fact never given. I keep logs of every document, its location, etc. I have emails regarding other documents to my boss, this one was never mentioned. I did not receive it. I made it very clear - this document was never given to me, don't pass the buck on to me. After being reamed by this person WHO KNOWS THEY GAVE IT TO ME, I got so mad.

This is not the first time they've tried to do this.

There is a culture of passing blame and never taking responsibility. They get you all upset and then say, "why are you upset?" Passive aggressive ******** at its finest.

10 minutes later, he calls to tell me he found it.

I have absolutely zero flucks to give at this point.

"Oh? So it wasn't with me?"

Silence.

"I don't know WHY you are getting so defensive with me. I just called to tell you I found it."

"Good. I'm glad you did."

Construction is tough!!!! I find the men sometimes can be assholes. Its that old school mentality that its a man's field!!!!!
