Has anyone had termites? Can you recommend an exterminator?
My parents have found termites in their home in Melville. Terminex gave us a quote for $1803 for 1 year and $349/yr for future years.
Is this a reasonable price?
It seems expensive but I have nothing to compare it too.
Can you recommend other reputable exterminators or is Terminex a good exterminator?

Has anyone had termites? Can you recommend an exterminator?
We had them many years ago and used Suburban. Is the estimate for the Sentricon System? We paid about $1100, but that was over 10 years ago. It did work great though and we never got them back.
We were very happy with Suburban Exterminating.

Thank you for your input. If you paid $1100 a decade ago, $1800 sounds reasonable. I had nothing to compare it to so it sounded expensive.

We used Suburban as well. We got a quote from Terminex and they were substantially more than Suburban. I don't remember amounts, it was a few years ago.
