Potty Training regression?
as anyone DC been potty trained and then regressed?
I trained DS using the 3 day potty method (no pull-up straight to underwear) and while it took longer for him to get it, took him about a week or so, he did get it. this was back in mid February. while he still had his occasional accidents he was doing ok. all of a sudden the past week or two its like he was never potty trained having accidents ALL day long
I don't know what to do. do I go back to diapers/pull ups? first I can imagine after all this time having to go back. second if I do I know he will never make any attempt to go to the potty. As is he wears a pullup for nap and bed time (he was fine during nap and bed time but that slowly went away so I gave in and did pull ups for that time)
I am thinking soon daycare is going to get sick of having to change him all the time.
has this happen to anyone? anything I should be doing?
For DD I did the 3 day potty method and for daytime and nap time she was completely trained with very few accidents after (bed time is a different story)
ETA: DS turned two in November. I trained DD when she just turned 2

do not go backwards. But go back to the 3 day basics. Not sure how your DS is but at your DS's age I was able to have simple conversations with DS and talk to him about why he's having an issue.
Ask him if something is wrong?

thanks DS IMO is a little slower on the side of communication. i can maybe ask him but i don't think he will really understand what i am asking.
i am going to keep at. the director at daycare made me feel better about the situation and told me not to worry about the teachers having to change them constantly.

Has anything changed in his life? Routine? New baby? New caregiver? Anything?

nothing that I can think of. we do the same thing every day. last week his main teacher was out for a few days but he has been with the other teachers that were watching him.
I think he just get preoccupied with what he is doing sometimes and sometimes he is just stubborn and just will not go. I swear sometimes he pees his pants because he is mad he is not getting what he wants!
