H&M Bathing Suits Final Sale
I didn't know that bathing suits at H&M were final sale. I bought my DD a bathing suit there and she wasn't with me the day I bought it, and its to small. i go back this weekend to return it and they inform me its final sale. If they told me this when they were ringing me up I wouldn't have bought it. It is actually printed on the back of the receipt. Which i didn't read. Just thought I would give everyone an FYI. make sure you are aware.

Oh that stinks. They should have said that when you bought it. Who reads the back of the receipt? Maybe the manager can make an exception?
Or post a pic here and maybe someone will buy it

Yeah there should at the very least be a sign at the register stating that all bathing suits are final sale.
That's bull.

I did ask for a manager and he said no, t's on the receipt. I said they should have a sign up because I never would have bought it.

That's ridiculous. It's a kids bathing suit. Even if I had my girls with me I never have them try on anything, least of all a bathing suit. Not sure how your daughter is, but still.

Im going to go back again this week and complain again. Ill let you know how it goes.
DD is 8 and you are right even if she was with me she wouldn't have tried it on in teh store.
But thats there policy for a lot of stuff the manager said, so all just be aware before you buy anytihng. They don't put that liner in teh bathing suits so thats why its final sale. Still I would have liked to been told before i bought it.

walmart too. i bought dd underware ad the cashier told me undies and bathing suits are final sale. Even if the package of underware aren't open they won't take them back
But she told me before I bought them lol

Yep. But if they are worried people will try on at home with no underwear, than what is to stop people from going in the fitting room and trying it on bare azzed, kwim?

Just looking online at the bathing suits and no where in the product description does it say final sale, the online chat i started told me its printed on the receipt or in there customer service policy. Again after you purchase the item

Stores are required to post their refund policy where it can be seen PRIOR to purchase. I would go back and demand a refund because if the policy was not posted as stated here , then they are in violation of NY law. Just putting the info on the receipt is not sufficient

Their policies are annoying. I would email them. I had returned some stuff, and paid with debit (same as cash), and didn't have that card on me. They refused to give me cash back, would only give me store credit. I said I don't live out here to come again (Riverhead), and she said "well, neither do I". A$$hole, you work here  I ultimately returned to the mall another day, but the girl was a jerk at the Riverhead store.
