Ohana and Kona
Is it easier to view fireworks from poly then in the actual park? I was told to look into these restaurants. If you want to watch fireworks from Ohana what time is ideal for adr? Wishes is at 10. 8? Is it easier to just go earlier and leisurely watch them from the beach instead of from in restaurant anyway? If that's the case maybe Kona is better option? It'll be so late for my kids to be eating dinner trying to match it up so maybe Kona is better option so can pay a la carte and can feed them a little before and have a light dinner around 8/8:30 then walk to beach? Sorry for ramble. Any help appreciated. Staying at dolphin and have 3 kids under 6. Help!! Want to try to see wishes at least once. Tentatively have Ohana for 5 and Kona for 8:15 booked same night. Couldn't get Ohana for later and deciding if I should keep trying and ideal time anyway...

For 10pm Wishes, you would want @ 9:00 Ohana reservation. I haven't seen the fireworks from the beach, so I don't know for sure, but since a table with a view isn't guaranteed, my guess is the beach is better.

It isn't the same experience watching the fireworks from the Poly as it is watching them from the park but it is less crowded. I have watched the fireworks from the beach at the Poly and found it much more enjoyable than watching from the window when we had fireworks timed reservations at Ohana. There is something less "WOW" about watching fireworks from inside when you're already further away.
