if you got full pay during jury duty...
If you got full pay for jury duty, did you still get your $40 a day? I'm a teacher if that helps. Thanks!

The min. is 40 per day instead of your typical amount.

My husband was on jury duty, he got full pay but they still sent the check. It was grand jury not sure if it makes a difference.
They told them, if you still got paid that you should give the 40 dollars to your employer.

I've never served but it's in our handbook that we get paid by employer but have to give the check for jury duty to the employer if that makes sense

i think it varies by state b/c when I did it for PA this year they pay you like $9 for the day plus mileage. I think I earned $17 and they started a program where you could donate it to a charity. they gave you like 3 to choose from.
they found that most people didnt cash the jury duty checks.
in NY i remember I did not get paid for jury duty if my job was paying me for the day.
