Shoes - Summer time
Trying to get DD - 18 months shoes for summer. What do you like to get - sandals, open toe? But then the playground I don't want her getting hurt. Do you have sneakers and sandals?

we have sneakers and sandals - although DS will only wear sneakers and dd prefers sneakers too
Check out stride rite - they have a ton that have covered toes...i prefer those because my kids are always running around and I'm paranoid

Daycare didn't allow open toe so I always had sandals for home and sneakers for when she was at daycare or on the playground etc

Shoes - Summer time
Sneakers for everything except pool. Then we use the iplay water shoes. They're enclosed and have a thick rubber sole. And they're $10.

At that age, dd had closed toe sandles and sneakers from stride rite.

Shoes - Summer time
I only have a few pairs for Dd right now, but I'll get more. I'm waiting until it's actually warm out to see if she moves up a size.
Right now she has 2 pairs of converse sneakers, a pair of black Mary Janes, a pair of adorable close toe sandals from old navy, a pair of jelly Mary Janes, and white patent sandals. I'll probably get her a pair of black sandals also, and possibly white slip on shoes.

I have bought these the past few years and my kids love them and live in them. Perfect for everything. water, just a sandal and they are closed.

Shoes - Summer time
At that age I bought sneaker sandals from stride rite for Dd. That way she had full support and traction, her toes her protected, abd she got ventilation for hot days.
