Can baby boys wear girls leggings?
I have boatloads of black and blue leggings from my DD that are in good condition. Can I use them for DS as an infant and toddler or too girly? I say this as DS is currently in DDs old ballerina sleep and play lol.

hahaha - i would if you are just going to have him wear them around the house but I wouldn't bring him out with them on. The only reason is because boys pants are loose unlike leggings.

I would totally do that. I get so frustrated at the lack of legging type pants for infant and toddler boys. it's either sructured pants or sweatpants for boys. i like the look of a slimmer pant on little kids, and skinny jeans and slim khakis are adorable, but little kids need to be able to move in their clothes and be comfortable! i often look at girl pants for DS because there are more legging options. often they may have "acceptable" color options, but are adorned with scalloped cuffs or bows

I'd think as an infant it would be fine. DS had some tight legging-like pants when he was younger. As a toddler, I prefer him in khakis or jeans. I only put him in sweatpants if we are having a lazy day and hanging round the house all day.

I would think that maybe they might be too tight in the groin area for a boy and could be uncomfortable

I don't think this would be an issue. They're made to accommodate a HUGE diaper.

I think it's fine. I like the Koala Kids brand from babies r us for boys comfortable pants. They come in a 2 pack and they're not exactly leggings but they are slim fit and not bulky sweatpants.

If you like tight pants on boys then go for it. I'm not a fan. I'm sure it's fine as an infant, but not really a toddler.
This post made me think of the tight pants skit on SNL

I don't think this would be an issue. They're made to accommodate a HUGE diaper.
I also don't think a baby boy needs much "extra room"

All I know is I have a pair of girl pajamas for my son because someone in the clothing industry decided that cats are for girls and dogs are for boys. Fits the same, and personally, I don't mind the hearts on the waistband.

I will keep the girl leggings and see how tight they end up being. Hopefully they fit baggy and I can get some use out of them. Maybe I will start buying DD some boy pants that I can pass down easier.
