Mini Vacation with 3/4 month old and young kids?

Looking for some ideas for a short vacation with a young baby and two young kids. I feel bad that we won't be able to take a real trip this summer due to the new baby and work but I want to do something fun for the kids. I'm thinking DW, do you think that's crazy. Based on my first two, my babies aren't "good" babies that sleep at night and will just chill in a carrier while we eat in restaurants (hoping and praying this one will be different!). Part of me thinks we're nuts to even go anywhere.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Sesame place! The older ones can go on the rides and the younger baby will still enjoy the shows and parade.

Just wait & see...
You could always do DC or Philly last minute..
Personally, I'd see what temperament of the new baby is.

A 3/4 month old is just going along for the ride no matter where you choose. They aren't going to enjoy or get anything out of it at that age.

I think DW is fine.

Kids are 3 and 5.

Thanks everyone. I do totally realize that the infant is just along for the ride, I'm just hoping that won't make it a miserable ride for everyone else Chat Icon . I'm also a bit worried about having a tiny baby out in the heat of summer. I remember it being unbearably hot at DW in the summer. We will probably take the wait and see approach.

Definitely wait and see tbe temperment of the new baby. At 3/4 months DD was screaming 24/7 still and up every 2 hours at night. It would have been miserable going away with her and we probably would have been thrown out of the hotel in the middle of the night for disturbing the other guests with her screaming all night
