anyone else getting ridiculous bills from them ? Every visit was always covered 100% through NYSHIP now I just got a $1400 bill for my DDs 15 month visit and $1200 for the 18 month .. all the sudden it applies to my deductible .. is this bc they are now an LIJ office ?

I'd call your insurance company first- something sounds off with that.

Id call insurance first, they are only billing you if your insurance isn't covering.

I called my insurance and they said "in network" well visits are covered - thinking they're maybe out of network now that they're LIJ - not sure if anyone else had experience with this since it's such a big practice

Your insurance company should be able to tell you though if they are in or out of network now.

Their billing is messed up and has been since the switched over to northwell back in September. They told me to just send the bill and a copy of the EOB and they'll write it off. First they billed the wrong insurance. Several months later I found out and told them (and this was about 3 months after the switch). They billed the correct insurance and STILL billed it out of network. Months later and this is still the case. Between that and what happened with my daughter, I've since switched. I don't have the time to deal with their billing issues among other things.
