Does anyone have any insight into the group of hotels at Madinet Jumeriah?

DH and I will have a 36 hour layover in Dubai. Madinet Jumeriah is right next to Burj Al Arab so I think we would like to stay there.

Can't get a handle of the different hotels within the hotel complex. Think we will choose between Al Qasr or Dar Al Masyaf, the palace looking ones.

This will be the first time DH and I go away alone. The last time we went somewhere together without the kids was 2012.
