Mommies of boy who were baptized...
What did you change them into for the party. My sons Christening suit is being made from my wedding gown and I don't want him to be passed around in that or get it dirty. I was looking for a romper type thing but I want him to still look dressed up....

I ordered a cute onesie and cotton pants from Etsy. It had a white bow tie attached.
I wanted him to be comfortable.

I ordered a cute personalized outfit off Etsy. It was a onezie with built in seersucker vest and matching shorts.

We had my son's Christening gown made out of my wedding dress. His Godmother also bought an outfit at Macy's that was cute for him to wear for the "party".

I also had my DS's christening outfit made from my wedding gown. My mom bought him white feetie pajamas that had a tie attached to change into at the party and it was perfect because he was comfy but still looked a little dressy!

he stood in it for most of the day (mine was just store bought  ) but his godmother bought him a onsie that said my god mother loves me with a cross on it so I eventually changed him into that. cant remember what kind of pants I put on with it.

Ds1 it was summer, button down and cute shorts
DS 2 i think we actually just left him in his outfit, it was november so i would have just out khaki pants and a button down or sweater if we did.

Thanks ladies..On Etsy now. DS has eczema and crazy sensitive skin so although we are doing it in July, the party is inside so I want something with sleeves and long pants.

DS had a pretty light casual outfit to begin with and it was off and he was next to naked til bedtime. Ours was a backyard party.

My DS was older by his christening (11 mo, but he was wearing 2T).
We had made his outfit from a linen shirt & white linen overall shorts from Janie & Jack (both on sale). Check J&J out!
