Losing baby weight
Ok busy working moms - how did you lose weight? I need a method that will let me incorporate some prepared foods (i.e. Annie's frozen bean burritos) because with my schedule and DH working most nights, cooking every meal is out of the question. Were you just more conscientious of what you were eating or did you do a certain diet?

Losing baby weight
I tried just looking at what I was eating but I never could get myself to stick to it.
I ended up finally just saying today is the day and I started medifast. I lost the weight in under 3 months and it's been off for over a year now. I now just eat clean. And it's been helping me maintain. I cook 2x a week.

Losing baby weight
I was never on a diet per se but I tracked what I ate with My Fitness Pal.
I lost all the weight with my last 2 this way.
And now with this baby, I have about 8 lbs to go to where I'm happy about my body.

Re: Losing baby weight
I got up at 4:30am to go to the gym before the baby woke up, I'm home with the kids during the day and work at night so options were limited. And I just really was conscious of what I was eating, and how often, etc. Nutrition is more important than exercise in weight loss, but working out definitely speed it up, and helps everything tighten up and look better. "Diets" work for a lot of people because they give you a plan to follow, in your case, something like my fitness pal may be a good option, you can just scan the barcode of the prepared stuff to track.
I should add that this was after my first, so much easier with only 1 kid at home. With my second I was on bedrest for like 4 months, so I was really only 3 lbs up when I got home from the hopsital.

Re: Losing baby weight
I went on Jenny Craig after DD. It's expensive, but it worked and was so easy to follow.

Losing baby weight
I am doing weight watchers and love it. I lost 35 pounds since I had my second son and I'm officially just under my pre pregnancy weight

Get a Fitbit and link it to myfitnesspal. It makes you really aware of what you eat and how many steps you take a day and how many calories you can eat.
However in the past when I've wanted to lose weight I've cut out all carbs except fruits and eaten really cleanly.

I'm strongly considering this. I've used Jenny Craig in the past and had great results and never an issue keeping it off after I started eating regular food again.
OP, I think you and I had our babies around the same time and I'm struggling, too. I'm home a lot during the day because I've been working from home but between keeping dd occupied and getting any work done by the time I think of dinner it's 6pm and the last thing I want is to cook. We eat so much takeout, which is bad for our weights and wallets. I'm thinking if I do Jenny I can just throw something simple together for DH. Hang in there

Losing baby weight
Breastfeeding and walking. I was back to my prepregnancy weight within 2 weeks. Breastfeeding is the BEST diet I have ever been on. Once I got the go ahead, I started working out at 6 weeks.
I do all my meal prep (lunches and dinners) on Sunday's. It sometimes sucks, but eliminates the need for take out and prepared foods. I use a lot of skinnytaste recipes.

I started walking immediately. I started using the bike at 6 weeks. I started running at 3-4 months. My advice work on strengthening your pelvic floor before any high impact stuff.

Re: Losing baby weight
I eat healthy and hit the gym when I can. I take back to back strength training & kickboxing classes when I can find the time.
