Birthday party place ideas please
We usually throw together a last minute back yard bbq for our daughters birthday but she is going to be 5 & she really wants to have it at a place.
We are considering the Rec Center in RVC, Tanglewood preserves or School of Rock (I think that one is pretty pricey but I have to look into it because she loves music.)
We're not crazy about bounce places or chuckie cheese.
Any suggestions in Nassau county would be appreciated. It's in July so it will be warm out if there is some place fun outside.
Thanks!

Not outdoors but I think the little gym in merrick does outstanding birthday parties. I had my dd's 3rd there and attended some as guests and IMO, they do the best job of all the gym-type places.

Outdoors in July is HOT. I'd actually prefer indoors at that time.
Other ideas are gymnastics places, bowling, ceramics, and cooking. There are a ton of places, so I'm not sure which town you're thinking.
