Help!!! Need feedback on Day Cares!!!
Hey guys...we are looking to put my son in daycare in September and wanted to get some feedback on the following centers. I am visiting them all but wanted to know if anyone here had any positive/negative reviews of them. I can only look at these since they offer 6:30AM drop-off. Thanks!!!
1. Kiddie Academy - Farmingdale
2. Prime Time Learning Center - Farmingdale
3. Kiddie Academy - Bethpage
4. Tutor Time - Levittown
5. The Learning Experience - Massapequa
6. Tutor Time - Melville
7. Tutor Time - Massapequa

Help!!! Need feedback on Day Cares!!!
My DS is at KA farmingdale. He has been there since they opened 4 years ago. I have no complaints at all. If you are interested I'd go soon. I know they generally have a wait list.

I went there for a tour and there is no wait list for September.

How often does KA Farmingdale close during inclement weather?

How often does KA Farmingdale close during inclement weather?
In the four years I have been there it has maybe been 5 times. They were not closed/delayed/closed early at all this winter (I don't think).
They give plenty of notice. I commute into the city so it could take me hours to get home during an off peak time and I have never had an issue with getting there in plenty of time.
I even had one day I left work and my train was delayed and then part way through the trip it was taken out of service. I normally pick up by 530 and I didn't get there til right before they closed. They were great. I kept them informed and they were all they wanted to do was keep DS informed since he knows the time he normally get picked up. They wanted to make sure he wouldnt get upset. THey really are an extension of the family for us.

I didn't know there was a Kiddie Academy in Massapequa? I'm going to follow this thread as I'm looking at the Learning Experience as well!

There isn't a KA in Massapequa listed on their website.

I have a friend who sends her DD to KA in Farmingdale, she is very happy with them.
ETA my DD goes to a home daycare, but I would have sent her to Toddler Time in Seaford/N. Massapequa (they have an infant program) if it wasn't so pricey for us.

I don't know how old your DS is but Kiddie Academy Bethpage doesn't have an infant opening until October (just got off the phone with them).
