Disney Intinerary

We've done Disney a bunch of times before, but we are doing a quick trip in October (4 nights, but only really 4 days)...we arrive Friday night...thinking MK the first day, second day we are thinking of staying at the hotel and enjoying the pool, etc. then going to MNSSHP that night, thinking MK again day 3 and hopping over to Epcot that evening, then day 4 doing AK for most of the day before we have to get back for ME...what do you think??

Not sure what time you have to make it to ME on day 4 but thinking maybe to enjoy the pool, hotel, etc on that day & doing AK on day 2?

Our flight is at 9:20, so we figure we'll be picked up by 6ish...my husband is thinking we shouldn't push it and should do

Day 1 - MK
Day 2 - Animal Kingdom Am/Epcot Pm
Day 3 - MK
Day 4 - Downtown Disney/Pool until ME picks us up

I think we decided to skip MNSSHP after the reviews we read...and we feel like we can do more getting our kids to bed by 9:30 than if they go to bed at 12:30!

I wonder what changed. We've gone to 2 MNSSHP and had so much fun! We went on so many rides and met A&E with little to no lines. And the parade was awesome.

Reviews from last year talked about how crowded it was (like elbow to elbow the entire time), long waits for rides, impossible to get close to shows and parade, 30 minute lines to trick or treat or see characters...it seems like the times of an empty park to ride all the rides easily wasn't the case last year.

I love your second itinerary.
I don't like switching parks, so I'd probably just do animal kingdom.

We really want to go to Epcot to do the new Frozen ride...and its Food and Wine so we want to walk around there for a bit...

Re: Disney Intinerary

We tend to do shorter trips too.

If you go often, I would probably skip the second MK day and just do Epcot, AK, and MK.

Do you have annual passes or something? If not you are paying a lot just to hop to Epcot. I feel like hoppers are better for longer trips when you get more "hops" for your money.

I personally also run my itinerary past the crowd calendar on easywdw because I find him to be dead on.

Your arrival day plans are not going to work. MK closes at 7PM every day there is a Halloween party. These are the Halloween party dates: October 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 2016. The 7, 14, 21, and 28 are the Friday parties, and the 16, 23 and 30 are the Sunday parties.

You said you were arriving on a Friday evening. For me, that would be my Epcot Day. I would definitely stick with AK for Saturday. Downtown has become nothing more than a shopping mecca since the conversion to Disney Springs. I would then do MK, back to back, Sunday and Monday.

We arrive on Friday evening at 9:20pm. That is not our official day 1 for our itinerary. Day 1 is a Saturday.

OK. I thought the 9:20PM was your day of departure. Still, you couldn't pay me to walk into MK on a Saturday. All the locals, plus all the tourists are there. I would do AK on Saturday, then MK on Sunday, if you don't want to do back to back.

We get in around 8:30PM Friday and leave at 9:20PM on Tuesday. I think this is our go to at this point...we don't want to do MK on the day of the Halloween Party, which is Sunday and Tuesday, so Saturday and Monday it is for us. Being it is a school break for the northeast, we don't have much hope for low crowds...we're just looking to do all of our favorites...
