Sick with a baby
I feel like absolute crap- low grade fever, nauseous, headache. I'm definitely coming down with something. DD is only 3.5 months and I'm home alone with her all day. I'm constantly washing my hands, trying not to hold her except to feed her and no kisses  She seems perfectly fine at the moment.
Any other tips to keep her healthy? I know I can only do so much.

When DD was an infant I got a really bad stomach bug and was alone with her all that night because DH worked overnight.
I had no choice but to feed her, etc. I just did what you did- washed and sanitized hands a lot, tried to not touch her face or kiss her too much- and she was fine.
Never caught it.
Just do the best you can.

I literally wore a bandana around my mouth all day when taking care of my baby when I was sick LOL I tworked!
ETA: Feel Better! Being a sick Mommy is THE WORST!!!!

I wore a hospital mask lol. Youre doing everything you can. Unfortunately mommies get sick too.

I nursed my DS so I figured if I was sick there was nothing I could do to prevent him from getting sick. DH actually got my DS sick when he was 6 weeks old.

Not much you can do unless your dh or other help can come in and relieve you which I know might not be an option.
You should get tested for the flu tho. I know so so many people with it. There's a late outbreak and you could get tamiflu. The flu can be very serious to an infant so keep an eye on it.

Ita. Pretty sure I had it last week and gave it to my mom. She tested positive. They said it's making s big surge right now. Thankfully both if us were only really sick for about a day and a half and then started getting better. I would get tested for sure just to be safe.

Hospital mask. I've worn it around my kids when I was really sick. Dr recommended it. It worked. They didn't get sick. I would recommend picking some up.

Thanks ladies! No flu! I went to urgent care, it's just a cold. I still feel like garbage but at least I know its not the flu.
As soon as DH came home I handed her off and told him to smother her with hugs and kisses because she's been deprived all day, poor baby.

It's the worst. I gave dd (2.5 mos) my cold this week. I brought her to the doctor to confirm that it was just a cold, meanwhile, I never went for myself. Feel better!
