Surgical glue on c section incision

Hi ladies! I just had baby #3 a week and a half ago and this time around they used surgical glue to close me up. Just wondering about how long it takes for the glue to start peeling? Should I be gently scrubbing the area? I'm such a chicken and I'm so afraid to even look at it! Lol I never looked at any of my incision sites. With my first they used staples snd my second was dissolvable stitches. I go for my incision check on Tuesday but my husband sort of thought it looked like some of the glue was starting to peel and maybe it needs to be thoroughly cleaned up or maybe be covered with something

I didn't touch mine. I had an irrational fear of splitting the incision open (which isn't possible, btw). It mostly peeled off on it's own and my OB scraped some off at my incision check.

I didn't touch it. It came off eventually.

Even if it's peeling, you're not supposed to do anything. Let it fall off naturally.

I was afraid to look at mine but once I got over the initial shock of looking, I left it alone. It healed by itself and wasn't painful at all. Can't even see it really, 20 months after my son was born.

Like the others said, don't touch it, it will fall off naturally. Mine didn't take long at all.... And my scar was gorgeous... Once it peeled, maybe by week 4ish, it looked like a 1 year old scar already....

I too left mine alone and it peeled of little by little over a months time.
