Can someone explain the different rooms at Woodloch?
Trying to figure out the different room areas and meal options. We are finally going to go this June.

I probably can. Do you have a specific question?

Is there a building that is the main building? Rooms that are newer? Better location?

The hotel rooms aren't all that modern, but are all convenient to the hotel and activities. I have personally never stayed in the hotel rooms or been on the dining plan. Both times I've been there we have rented in the Springs. The houses/townhouses are really nice and a lot more modern. They're equipped with full kitchens and decks with grills. The Springs are on the golf course and there is a pool there too. You would have to get in the car and drive to the hotel amenities.

It kind of depends on what you want. We always stay in Timberline b/c we travel with a group and we like to be able to hang out outside the rooms together (we go in Sept.). They are also close to the main building and have two sleeping areas which is good with small kids. They are a bit dated, but everything is clean and not rundown looking. They're a short walk to most of the activities.
The rooms in the main building are called Greenbriar I think and have a lake view. We stayed in one once and it was really nice, but more money than Timberline. These are super close to the dining hall obviously and a bit further from the pools.
The rooms in Springbrook are in the same building as the indoor pool, so if that's your thing then those are very convenient. They are a bit of a walk (including an uphill) to the dining hall and most the activities. I've never stayed in them, but my sister has and she said they are great in the colder weather b/c you don't have to go outside to get to the pool.
We always do the full dining plan (3 meals a day) and love it. The meals are delicious and there's a ton of food. They usually have 3-4 choices per meal plus seperate kids choices. And you can order more than one entree.
Let me know if you have any more questions!
