STUPID!!
Boy am I stupid!!!
I was trying to get out of going to my friend's party tonight and I sent her an e-mail telling her why i can't go, which was sort of true. She tells me back that it's ok and that she's going to the gym at the same time I was going to go. Now I was thinking...great...I can't run into her!!
So...I e-mailed my friend who I go to the gym with and forwarded the e-mail to her. She replied but I didn't get the e-mail...MY FRIEND GOT IT INSTEAD!!!
So she calls me and says...you didn't have to lie to me, you could have told me that you didn't want to go. She basically hung up on me and then writes me an e-mail saying that she doesn't believe me....(because I told her that I didn't forward it to my friend)....so now I got caught in a bigger lie....
Now...I'm sitting here feeling like a stupid idiot...trying to think of the right words to write back to her in an e-mail....
STUPID...STUPID...STUPID!!!
This is also not like me because I never lie to my friends like this...I just didn't want to hurt her feelings....but I wound up doing something worse.

Ugh! That's the worst feelling ever!!
I'm sure if you email her and just explain that you were trying not to hurt her feelings she will understand.

I'm glad everything worked out for the best!!! I hate that feeling but you did the right thing..
Me on the other hand usually I dig myself a bigger hole trying to cover up how dumb I was 
You would think I would learn right?
